Fires are not allowed in Vasaparken
Burning with wood, wood, coal or similar solid fuel that creates the smell of smoke must not occur in or near the area of the ongoing demonstration in Vasa Park.
The City of Gothenburg has received several complaints from residents in the area regarding the smoke from the wood burning.
Smoke from burning can be a nuisance to human health according to the Environmental Code. The risk becomes palpable in the area of the demonstration as fires took place in the vicinity of residential buildings.
